Dr. Perez received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a Minor in Women’s Studies from Loyola University Chicago. From there, she went on to Medical School at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her Residency in Pediatrics at Rush University. She is an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant who has a focus on breastfeeding, nutrition, and full and complete vaccinations as the road to optimal health for children. Her areas of interest include, Breastfeeding, Nutrition, Obesity, Vaccination, Preventative Medicine, and Asthma and Allergies. She prides herself on her long lasting relationships with patients and their families.
Kimberly (Kim) is an Advanced Practice Nurse who is Board Certified in Pediatrics. This means she practices in the office much the same way as a doctor. Kim graduated from Loyola University with a Post Masters Certificate in Pediatrics in 1998 and has practiced in this community for many years. Her main areas of interest are obesity and asthma. She enjoys caring for children on the Autism Spectrum. Kim loves getting to know her patient's families as well as the patient and provide care for them as she would want her own family to be cared for. She enjoys teaching patients and their families how to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
Dr. Pitstick Sanchez is very excited to join the MP Pediatrics team! She grew up in Lisle, IL and received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Spanish at St. Olaf College in Minnesota. During college, she spent a semester in Costa Rica, where she researched asthma in schoolchildren. For medical school, she attended Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. As an osteopathic physician (DO), she learned how to manipulate muscles and bones as an extra tool for diagnosis & treatment. She completed her pediatric residency at Rush University in Chicago, where she enjoyed working with Spanish-speaking families. Her interests include asthma, infectious disease, mental health, and injury prevention.
