Our practice feels very strongly that all children be vaccinated fully and on time. Vaccination is our best protection against disease an saves lives. We require that all patients in our practice follow the CDC vaccine schedule for all vaccines unless there is a medical reason to not be vaccinated.
If a parent/patient has a concern/question about vaccines, we are more than happy to discuss and address these concerns; however we know that vaccines are extraordinarily safe and have minimal risk and side effects. In order to stay as a patient in our practice, children must be fully vaccinated.
Because it is not supported by research or safety data, we do not vaccinate according to any alternative or spread out vaccine schedule. These types of schedules only increase the amount of time for which your child could be exposed to an illness.
